Coscia Pear
Origin:
Typical Italian cultivar, originally grown in Tuscany.
Features:
Small-medium sized fruits; thin and smooth skin, light green in colour (turning to intense yellow when ripe), blush red on exposed side. Flesh is cream-white, with a granular texture, slightly scented, juicy and sugary.
On the table:
Delicious to eat fresh, this fruit is used in the preparation of juices, jams, desserts and fruit salads. We recommend to taste it with semi-seasoned and spicy cheese.

Origin:
Hybrid between Coscia x William pears, crossbred in 1956..
Features:
Medium sized fruits with smooth and light yellow skin, blush red on exposed side. Compact, whitish, juicy and sugary flesh, with a slightly aromatic taste.
At the table: best eaten in summer, good in combination with any kind of cheese, jam, fruit salads and in syrup.

William Pear
Origin:
Selected in England at the end of the XVIII century, our territory enhances its quality and yield.
Features:
Medium-big fruits with classic pyriform shape, green skin, yellow when ripe, fine and white flesh, aromatic with a very good taste; exceptionally juicy, that's why it is commonly used in food industry.
On the table:
Delicious on any occasion, especially during the summer thanks to its refreshing properties. It is the best variety to be used in the preparation of fruit juices, aperitifs, shakes and ice-creams. Good in combination with seasoned cheese or all kind of honey.
